Job Description
We’re searching for a passionate data scientist to join our team and lead exciting cloud-based data projects for our partners. You’ll leverage your expertise in big data, analytics, and cloud platforms (GCP or Azure) to design, build, and deploy data-driven solutions that unlock valuable insights and drive business growth for our customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and execute data projects across various areas including reporting, business intelligence (BI), data management, big data, and analytics. Utilize cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure) for project implementation.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle: design, conception, and deployment.
- Collaborate with partner customers to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements for data projects.
- Leverage your data science expertise to develop and implement data-driven solutions. This may involve tasks such as:
- Data collection and ingestion from various sources
- Data cleaning, transformation, and validation
- Exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and trends
- Building and deploying statistical models and machine learning algorithms
- Data visualization to communicate insights effectively
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of data projects to ensure they meet business objectives.
- Document project activities and findings clearly and concisely.
Skills & Experience
Functional/Technical
- Fluent French (Imperative)
- Professional English (Secondary)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Graduated from an engineering school or high-level IT training, you have a hybrid profile between an understanding of business issues and a mastery of Data Science.
- Ability to translate customer needs into product uses and functionalities
- Mastery of Big Data issues
- Ability to understand the principles and practices of data analysis and the latest advances in Machine Learning to identify potential product applications
- Understanding of data architecture around data (Data Lake, Data-Hub, Data-Lab, Data Warehouse, Pipeline)
- Knowledge of various market solutions (Cloud, Data Governance, Data virtualization, ETL, etc.)
- Ability to understand the different roles within the Data team (Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, etc.)
- End-to-end vision of data processing
- Knowledge of data modeling fundamentals, BI/data culture
