Business Analyst SAP Supply Chain
Job Description
Our Supply Chain division is looking for a Business Analyst. You will be working in an SAP environment (S/4 HANA, ECC, IBP, APO, EWM, etc.), which you will help to exploit to the full by participating in the deployment of functionalities and solutions required by the customer.
You’ll be working in a resolutely international environment where everyone has their place, and where solidarity and mutual support are fundamental. You’ll be working in a rich, diversified and constantly evolving technical environment.
The main role of the SAP Supply Chain Analyst is to support the customer in implementing the most appropriate supply solutions for the chosen SAP products. He/she is the main contact for logistics users and liaises with IT project teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Frame, challenge and prioritize Supply projects as soon as they are initiated
- Lead workshops with the customer and/or end-users to understand their needs
- Define the product vision in agreement with the project’s stakeholders, and to teams through the product roadmap
- Set the parameters of the solution
- Identify gaps, write functional specifications
- Ensure functional acceptance testing
- Write User Stories and acceptance criteria
- Manage and prioritize the Product Backlog
- Steer the project, in coordination with the customer, the Supply team and IT, and ensure communication between stakeholders throughout the project
- Follow up projects from POC to eventual industrialization
- Contribute to solution support
Skills & Experience
Functional/Technical
- Graduated from an engineering school or high-level training in the field of information technology, you have a hybrid profile between an understanding of business and industry issues
- SAP Supply Chain solutions (ECC, S4 HANA, APO, IBP, etc.).
- You will be in charge of one or more Supply Chain projects, from the definition of requirements through to implementation with IT and continuous improvement.
- You will be responsible for detecting user problems and identifying appropriate solutions, including feasibility/alternatives across the entire value chain.
- Other relevant skills:
- Knowledge of logistics fundamentals, with a Supply Chain culture.
- Ability to translate customer needs into product uses and functionalities, to understand the principles and practices of logistics planning
- Understanding of IT architecture around logistics (ERP, APS, Demand planning, WM, BI, etc.)
- Ability to understand the different roles within the SAP project team (Business Analyst, Process expert, Project manager, Key user, ABAP Developer, UX Developer, BC Administrator)
- Knowledge of SAP products
